Restored High Keep Guild Hall on Test [EverQuest II]

While running around on Test yesterday, we were notified by Kuulei that there was a new guild hall available for touring on the Antonica and Commonlands guild hall bells: Restored High Keep . Not much is known about it yet, aside from the fact that it is the entirety of the High Keep zone. Afista of EQ2 Design Gallery has posted images of the entire place over on her site . We did ask Senior Producer Holly Longdale about it and she responded " It's coming out the end of April. We're working on the details of how it's acquired at the moment." Could it be a Marketplace-sold prestige guild hall, akin to the Palatial halls on EverQuest ? Looks like we'll find out sometime in April! In the meantime, you can tour this hall on the Test server, but the exit doesn't function so have your Call to Home spell ready to get out!

The US servers will come down on March 26th, 2014 at 7:00 AM PT for an update. The expected downtime is approximately one hour. EU servers will come down beginning at 9:00 PM PT (6:00 AM CET March 27th, 2014) for the same update. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 2 hours. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Tears of Veeshan Corrected an issue that was causing some spells to ignore wards. Temple of Veeshan: Guardian's Edifice Klandicar and Zlandicar should no longer heal from non-player kills. Zlandicar's spell"Necrotic Evisceration"can now trigger reactive spells. Klandicar's spell"Cognitive Evisceration"can now trigger reactive spells. Klandicar's spell"Chaos Storm I"has been changed to"Chaos Bolt I"and can no longer be area effect blocked. Sony Online Entertainment has announced maintenance on the morning of March 26. It is expected to take approximately 2 hours. This will impact the following services: Login for Free Realms and Clone Wars Adventures players will be impacted starting at 8:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM PDT. Free Realms and Clone Wars Adventures players who are already logged in may be disconnected and unable to log back in starting at 8:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM PDT. Account management may be unavailable starting at 8:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM PDT. Commerce transactions, including purchases on our websites and in-game marketplaces may be unavailable between 8:00 AM and approximately 10:00 AM PDT. Bristlebane Day returns tomorrow, Friday, March 28th, and runs through Thursday, April 10th. There's new recipes, new rewards, and a new event currency! Keep your eye out for interesting Patchcraft mobs all over Norrath and earn your Patchcraft Slayer achievements ! All your favorites from last year return, some with new rewards. On April 1st things really get hopping! New this year... bunnies. Everywhere , bunnies. You may have been stumbling over them around the world, and on April 1st you can collect them for three new achievements . Returning are the Jester's superior gardens in Enchanted Lands, giving harvestables from all holidays. Frostfell crafting stations will also pop up in Enchanted Lands on the Highest of Silly Days. The City Festival Starts Tonight! [EverQuest II]

Tomorrow is the beginning of April, bringing us the Qeynos City Festival ! The festival begins on April 1st at 12:01am PDT and runs until April 7th at 11:59pm PDT. You can find the Far Seas Caravan in Antonica just beyond the bridge to North Qeynos. There are no new items available this month. Visit the Far Seas caravan merchants to see all of the local specialities and other festival goods. An Aether Race will also be available in Antonica during the festival. Participate and achieve a time of 134 seconds or less to earn the Bridge Buzzer prefix title! Begin the race by speaking to the referee near the Coldwind Point Lighthouse. As a reminder, April 1st is also the Highest of the Silly Days and there are special Bristlebane Day events happening, including bunny collections !

EU servers will come down beginning at 9:00 PM PT (6:00 AM CET April 2nd, 2014) for the same update. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately two hours. The update notes are below. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Temple of Veeshan: Guardian's Edifice Klandicar should no longer cast Chaos Bolt more than intended. Temple of Veeshan: Halls of the Betrayer Corrected an issue that would sometimes cause the doors behind Grendish to not open when they should. PvP Converting a mount to a house item must be done within a house on PvP servers.

April Fools Day marks the Highest of Silly Days for the Bristlebane Day celebration. Two quests are only available on this day, both given by the sphinx Imenand just off the dock in the Enchanted Lands. Test your brain by trying to solve his many riddles and take a gamble at your choice of house pet rewards. You may have noticed the bunnies that have appearaed all over Norrath. Today, and only today can you collect the silly wabbits and earn three Bunny Achievements ! Players can also harvest from the Jester's Superior Gardens on this day, which are found in Enchanted Lands. These gardens give harvests from every holiday event that has crafting, so be sure you have a lot of backpack space to spare! Those wanting to sneak in some mid-year Frostfell crafting can do so as well. Check the Marketplace for some special Bristlebane Day promotional items! GENERAL Corrected an issue where players not at the level cap would gain adventure EXP when their AA slider was set to 100% and they were capped on AAs. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Temple of Veeshan: Guardian's Edifice The generals encounter should no longer have a chance of spawning the adds from the encounter after the encounter has reset or been defeated. Here are the patch notes: GENERAL Fixed an issue where gaining AA experience could display an invalid message. Temple of Veeshan: Guardian's Edifice Spirit of Malice adds in the Zlandicar encounter should no longer hit players once for each player they hit with their"Bone Slice"spell.
