Downtime - Tuesday, January 28, 2014 [EverQuest II]

The US servers will come down on Tuesday, January 28th at 7:00AM Pacific Time for an update. The expected downtime is approximately one hour. EU servers will come down beginning at 9:00PM PT (6:00AM CET January 29th) for the same update. Downtime is anticipated to be two hours. Full patch notes are available after the jump. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Temple of Veeshan : Guardian's Edifice Corrected an issue that would occasionally prevent Tavekalem's buff, Relentless, from decrementing to zero and wearing off. Added messaging explaining the bloodlust ability for Harin, Merig, and Gerid. Harin, Merig, and Gerid should give slightly longer time to react to their bloodlust ability. In the Harin, Merig, and Gerid encounter“Bloodlust” has been made more damaging. In the Harin, Merig, and Gerid encounter“Advanced Tactics” should no longer be quite as damaging. Tony"RadarX"Jones , EverQuest II Community Manager, posted on the official forums: All EU servers will go offline for a scheduled network maintenance at 12:00 AM CET December 29th (3:00 PM PT December 28th). Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 2 hours and players should notice no gameplay changes. No patch notes have been posted for this downtime.

The full patch notes are available after the jump. QUESTS The Channeler Epic Quest is now available for all level 95 Channelers. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Vesspyr Isles Zaszae's Armor Exchange in the Falinpol area of Vesspyr Isles will allow you to convert any Cryptic, Arcane, or Potent armor that has not been upgraded with a gemstone into a Token specific to that tier and slot. Seven of these tokens can then be used to purchase a piece of armor from Zaszae. Anex and Onerind Fe'Dhar in Vesspyr Isles no longer turn toward players hailing them. Sony Online Entertainment has announced the date and location of their annual event: SOE Live 2014 will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort& Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 14– Aug. 17, 2014. Frostfell Returns to Norrath! [EverQuest II]

The season of giving and cheer has arrived in EverQuest II ! Frostfell will begin following the downtime on Thursday, December 12, and this year brings about a festive season of change. This year Frostfell introduces one new quest , A Deepice Mystery, which explores the altered Frostfell Wonderland Village and must be completed before several older quests may be obtained. Many new craftables are available to tradeskillers this year, resulting in items such as Gingerbread Plushies and a Glacier building block set. Several returning quests have new reward choices or tokens added to them. Players with extra"gifties"from the Gigglegibber Gifty Storehouse can exchange them for Frozen Tokens of E'ci on the Enchanted Lands dock. Santa Glug can be found with his bag of goodies inside the Frostfell Wonderland Village for players to receive their daily presents .
