Downtime Wednesday, March 13, 2013 [EverQuest II]  from ZAM News (full) 
All EQ2 Servers will come down on Wednesday, March 13, at 7:00 am Pacific (2:00 pm London) for an update. The expected downtime for US servers is one hour, and for EU servers is 2 hours. The full patch notes are available below. MEMBERSHIP UPDATES The following restrictions have been removed on Free and Silver accounts: Class selections (Beastlord still requires Age of Discovery) Race selections (Freeblood still requires purchase) Bag slots Shared Bank slots Active journal quests allowed GENERAL There is no longer a broker fee for buying Krono from the broker. All U.S. servers will come down on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 7:00 am Pacific for an update. The estimated downtime is one hour. The EU servers will come down at 4:00 am London Time on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The expected downtime is two hours. The patch notes are available below. BAG SORTING UPDATES Bag Sorting: Added Fuel, Food, and Drink filters. Added Tier sorting method"/sort_bags tier". Added Ascending and Descending parameters for sorting called with"a"and"d"respectively (ie:"/sort_bags tier a"). Bag Dumping: Restored old bag swap functionality. Dragging a bag over another bag in your equipment window will swap the position of those bags (without moving their contents). To dump the contents of a bag into another, open the destination bag and then drag and drop the source bag into the open destination bag's window. Bag Dumping now supports partial dumping. Remaining items beyond the destination bag's limit will be placed back within the source bag. ...

The monthly live event Moonlight Enchantments starts tonight! It is scheduled to turn on March 20th at 12:01am PDT and run until 11:59pm PDT on March 22nd. The time applies directly with no conversion to all servers. Check out our Moonlight Enchantments guide and peek at the rewards ! Moonlight Enchantments has sprouted with fragrant new items to spruce up your home! If you have been wanting to branch out into springtime decor there is a variegated selection to choose from within the grottos. Don't beat around the bush, hop to your tokens, brew the root beer , then pluck some foliated splendor for your home or hovel! Chronoportals Reactivate in Norrath! [EverQuest II]  from ZAM News (full) 
Just after midnight Pacific Time on March 21 ancient portals re-open to take players back in time to battle creatures of a distant past. The EverQuest II Chronoportals event celebrates 14 years of the original EverQuest with legacy encounters re-imagined for EQII. Many of the Portal to the Past events have memorable dialogues that any former EverQuest player can appreciate. This year there is a new Chronoportals collection quest which rewards Ancient Platinum Coins to spend at the event merchants . The purchasable rewards include three new EQ house paintings! Whether you're looking for the chronoportal that Quillmane dwells within or need some help defeating the Nagafen's Lair encounter, our Chronoportals guide has it all. The event will run until 11:59pm Pacific Time on March 28, 2013.

All U.S. servers will come down on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 7:00 am Pacific for an update. The expected downtime is one hour. The EU servers will also come down on Wednesday at 9:00 pm Pacific. The expected downtime is two hours. Here is the patch note: ITEMS Fixed an issue with the adornments Prime Fortified Soul Trap, Nexus of the Bastion and Nexus of Flame. Unfortunately, this fix is not retroactive to those already missing their adornments. Please submit a customer service ticket for reimbursement of any lost adornments.

Here are the patch notes: POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Sleeper's Tomb: The Forgotten Catacombs The Eternal Sentinel now only needs to trample the smaller gargoyles once each to knock them over. Wurmbone Gulch [Heroic] - Merglok the Slasher gives you more time to move away. He will give a message every time he is going to go into"Clawed Storm". Clawed Storm has had its damage reduced. [Advanced Solo] - Merglok the Slasher will give a message every time he is going to go into“Clawed Storm”. He claws slower now and Clawed Storm has had its damage reduced.
The Neriak City Festival Has Begun! [EverQuest II]  from ZAM News (full) 
March has arrived and with it the Neriak City Festival has returned to Norrath! The festival will run until March 7th at 11:59pm PST and can be found in Darklight Wood outside of Neriak. Visit the Far Seas caravan merchants to see all of the local specialities and other festival goods . An Aether Race will also be available in Darklight Wood during the festival. Participate and achieve a time of 89 seconds or less to earn the Fearless Flyer prefix title! Begin the race by speaking to the referee near the festival caravans.
