The Kelethin City Festival is back! It will run from February 1st at 12:01am PT through February 7th at 11:59pm PT. The Far Seas Caravan can be found in Greater Faydark on the Green Knoll. All US live servers will be brought offline on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at approximately 7am PT. EU servers will be brought offline at 9pm PT on Tuesday, February 3, 2014 (5am London Time on February 4th). Estimated downtime for both sets of servers is one hour. Patch notes are available after the jump. LEVEL AGNOSTIC DUNGEONS General Maximum Level for Agnostic Dungeons has been increased to level 94, with a new set of level 90 equipment. Lower level player damage has been rebalanced to bring it closer to higher levels on a per-ability basis. Many creatures have given up the life of playing an underappreciated utility class, resulting in less crowd control effects and debilitating debuffs (particularly to lower level characters). In general, groupwide detrimentals have been toned down to make things friendlier for lower level players. EU servers will be brought offline on Friday, January 16, 2015 at approximately 1:00PM London Time. Expected downtime is 2 hours. There are no patch notes for this downtime. Login issues from yesterday appear to have persisted throughout the night. The issues cropped up after SOE got slammed by the players who purchased H1Z1 Early Access attempting to log in. This downtime may be related to that, but we have no confirmation. RadarX posted the following at 7pm PT Thursday evening: We are continuing to investigate outstanding issues which may prevent players from logging in to EverQuest 2. We hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible and appreciate everyone's patience. Thank you!

As the new year rings in the Gorowyn City Festival arrives! The festival is planned to start on January 1st at 12:01am PT and will run until January 7th at 11:59pm PT. You can find the Far Seas Caravan in Timorous Deep in and around the dock. Visit the Far Seas caravan merchants to see all of the local specialities and other festival goods , and don't forget to check out the four City Festival achievements (listed under Live Events in your journal). An Aether Race will also be available in Timorous Deep during the festival. Participate and finish the race in 244 seconds or less to earn the Wind Warder prefix title! Begin the race by speaking to the referee near the docks.
