Moonlight Enchantments Start Tonight (New Items!) [EverQuest II]

The monthly live event Moonlight Enchantments starts tonight! It is scheduled to turn on May 20th at 12:01am PDT and run until 11:59pm PDT on May 21st. The time applies directly with no conversion to all servers. This month has two new repeatable crafting quests added to the Zygomyd and Fay grottos. The US EverQuest II servers will come down on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:00 am Pacific Time for an update. The expected downtime is one hour. The EU servers will come down on Tuesday, May 7, at 9:00 pm Pacific Time, and the expected downtime is two hours. The full patch notes are below. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Siren's Grotto: Alluring Embrace (both versions) Shyneera will no longer become unkillable. Oakmyst Forest Using escape in Oakmyst now places the player at the Oakmyst Forest dock. Steamfont Mort Gimblesquee, an ammunition merchant, has set up shop in Gnomeland Security in the Steamfont Mountains. The US EQ2 Servers will come down on Thursday, May 2, at 7:00 am Pacific Time for an update. The expected downtime is one hour. The EU EQ2 Servers will come down on Thursday, May 2, at 9:00 pm Pacific Time, and the expected downtime is two hours. Patch notes are available below. GENERAL Fixed a bug where not all of your points spent would load from an AA mirror. Granted a free respec on all trees to all players. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Sirens Grotto Raid Caella the Pearl encounter - Siren Controllers are slower to react after spawning and have less health. Entrancer Lisha now waits a while after casting Numb Senses to cast her Consume Vitae AOE. Entrancer Lisha will no longer charm pets with Siren’s Melody. All U.S. servers will come down on Friday, May 3, at 7:00 am Pacific Time for an update. The expected downtime is one hour. EU servers will come down on Saturday, May 4, at 5:00 am London Time, with an estimated downtime of two hours. Patch notes are available below. PLAYER HOUSING Fixed an issue where the moving crate sometimes wouldn’t show up when moving houses. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION General Coin rewards for Advanced Solo zones have been increased. Minimum coin rewards for Heroic zones have been increased. ABILITIES / ALTERNATE ADVANCEMENT Warrior Reversal should no longer periodically reapply its visual. QUESTS The recipe"Circle of Flames"should now correctly appear in the recipe book for those who have scribed it. Meru should no longer mysteriously die during Gifts From Prexus.

Abby"Ahma"Watt, EverQuest II Associate Producer, posted this notice on the official forums: We want to give you a heads-up on a Marketplace change coming next week. With the Scars of the Awakened update, we added a new way to unlock equipped gear on your character. Now if you have several items want to unlock, you can click one and have the option to unlock them all instantly--and for a discount! Since this new“unlock all” functionality is available we will be removing the Equipment Unlocker Pack from the Marketplace the morning of Wednesday, May 8th. If you're thinking about acquiring an Equipment Unlocker Pack, get it now while you can!

With the announcement that Storybricks will be joining SOE in breathing life into EverQuest Next , time has come for the prognostication to recommence. We expect that we will have some more concrete information revealed at SOE Live this year, but there are some snippets that are certainly making me a little rabid with anticipation. The involvement of the Storybricks team itself is exciting, in that it reveals SOE is looking to add levels of player interaction with the world that will have some interesting AI and choices under the hood. This evening, Thursday, April 25, 2013, SOE will be broadcasting the EQII: Scars of the Awakened and the SOE Live 2013 webcasts back-to-back live on Twitch TV . The EQII webcast at 4pm Pacific will go over some final details regarding Game Update 66 and delve into what the team is working on next. The SOE Live webcast at 4:30pm PDT will have details regarding registration ( which opened up earlier today ), tournament, panesl, in-game items, and more. Join SOE on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 4:00pm PDT (7:00pm EDT) and 4:30pm PDT (7:30pm EDT) , as they live stream these webcasts on Twitch TV !
