Downtime Tuesday, April 2, 2013 [EverQuest II]  from ZAM News (full)

The US EQ2 Servers will come down on Tuesday, April 2, at 7:00 am Pacific Time for an update. The expected downtime for US servers is one hour. EU servers will come down at 9:00 pm PDT; the expected downtime for EU servers is 2 hours. The patch notes are below. Game Update 66 Beta testing also starts Tuesday .  The'Beta Copy'button is not currently available; it should be up post-patch on Tuesday.  See you on Beta server ! GENERAL Fixed a bug where expired missions were not being removed correctly. ITEMS Nocturnal Aggression and Nox Incessit can no longer apply multiple times from the same caster.

All U.S. servers will come down on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 7:00 am Pacific for an update. The estimated downtime is one hour. The EU servers will come down at 4:00 am London Time on Friday, March 22, 2013. The expected downtime is two hours. The full patch notes are available below. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION The Dreadcutter: The Pirate Kings [Raid] The scout cursed by the ogre witchdoctor should not be teleported unless there are not enough valid teleport targets. The pirate adds should no longer occasionally stop spawning. Eidolon Jungle Shriekgloms in Eidolon Jungle will no longer alert other Harrowing Horde to your presence at such great distances. ITEMS Shiverback King Loop no longer has the same effect as the Shiverback King Stud. It now has an effect that is more appropriate. Torment is now useable by brawlers and Beastlords. Ethereal end line rings have been given their own effect and have been slightly improved.

ITEMS Creeping Fingers, Tri Color Leaf Tree, Five Leaf Bush Drooping Fern Plant, and Blooming Jacaranda can now be sized even larger.

Today Holly"Windstalker"Longdale , EverQuest II Producer, published SOE's plans for Game Update 66 which includes the legacy zones of Cobalt Scar and Sirens Grotto. Named  Scars of the Awakened , Game Update 66 promises new content in Velious for crafters, questers, and raiders. and teases"the Ages End Prophecy looms with its promise to see Kerafyrm - Norrath's most evil, powerful dragon - bring a violent end to the world." BAG SORTING UPDATES Bag Sorting: Added Fuel, Food, and Drink filters. Added Tier sorting method"/sort_bags tier". Added Ascending and Descending parameters for sorting called with"a"and"d"respectively (ie:"/sort_bags tier a"). Bag Dumping: Restored old bag swap functionality. Dragging a bag over another bag in your equipment window will swap the position of those bags (without moving their contents). To dump the contents of a bag into another, open the destination bag and then drag and drop the source bag into the open destination bag's window. Bag Dumping now supports partial dumping. Remaining items beyond the destination bag's limit will be placed back within the source bag. ...
