All US and EU servers will come offline at 7am Pacific Time on Thursday, November 29 for an update. Estimated downtime is one hour. The full patch notes are available after the jump. GENERAL The Shave and a Cut item once again properly changes your appearance. The background and frame will now show up again in the Target and Implied Target windows when the slider is set to show them. Fixed a bug where adventure and tradeskill level 91 to 95 guild events were not showing in the guild event filters. Added chat channels for level 90 to 95. Fixed an issue causing Call of the Veteran to not function properly. AMENITIES Advanced Guild Hall Writ Agent now offers writs for the Withered Lands, Eidolon Jungle, and Obol Plains. MERCENARIES Mercenaries should now clear their hate list whenever their actor is added or removed from the world (ie: on flying mounts). Broken Broker Baffles Buyers [EverQuest II]

UPDATE 11:22am (Pacific): Holly"Windstalker"Longsdale tweeted :"We are testing our fix for the broker now and are preparing for hotfix. Still looking into the chat issue." Today's patch introduced a bug that has rendered the broker nearly unusable. Any item excluding equipment displays no name on the broker, causing it to be unsearchable. The UI you use has no impact, so don't rush and begin swapping UI pieces trying to fix it. This problem is listed in SOE's Top Known Issues and will hopefully be fixed very soon.

SOE: Unscheduled Maintenance [EverQuest II]

UPDATE 7:35am PST : Game logins appear to be functioning again. Your Station Cash balance may unavailable until SOE fully finishes their maintenance, so don't be alarmed if it's displaying the wrong amount. We have found out that many SOE game logins are currently under an unscheduled maintenance , which has caused players to be disconnected from their games and unable to log back in. The forums and account management logins are also subject to the same login issues. The reason for the maintenance is unknown. If you are still online you may get disconnected if you zone or change characters. We are currently doing some unscheduled maintenance that is affecting logins. We anticipate it done shortly and appreciate your patience. We'll update when we hear that login servers are back online!

The Heroes'Festival is Back! [EverQuest II]

The Heroes'Festival , an annual live event first introduced in 2009, has made its return.. early! The event was scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, November 27, but it erroneously began the morning of Friday, November 23. Freeport and Qeynos will be filled with festivities to celebrate the 8th anniversary of EverQuest II. Centered primarily at the Claymore in Qeynos Capitol District and Execution Plaza in the City of Freeport, players are able to participate in several event quests . Returning this year is the Dream Hero series, which has a new addition called A Dream Adventure , as well as Gandy's mission to light the Festive Flames. Mysterious disappearing decorations threaten to put a damper on the celebration. An appearance by the Heroes'Festival band sends players off on a mission to save the day so that the show can go on. The US servers will come down on Monday, November 26, 2012, at 7:00am PST for a hotfix. The EU servers will come down on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 5:00am London Time. The estimated downtime for both US and EU servers is one hour. Patch notes are available after the jump. GENERAL Fixed a bug where items that dropped from epic monsters that were pre-adorned were not tradable when they should be. Spellscrolls will now be more accurate when saying whether or not they’re locked based on spell tier and account subscription level. Auto-following while on a flying mount will now cancel your flight if the follow target enters combat. Call of the Veteran is now treasured instead of fabled so that all account levels can properly use it. ABILITIES Spells that rely on increments on a target will now successfully check against your implied target if your target is in the same group/raid as you. UPDATE 1:05pm PST: Servers that crashed are back online now. Keep an eye on the server status page if anything changes! UPDATE 12:18pm PST: Servers are unlocked... GO GO GO! You are welcome to join us in the #EQ2 channel of ZAM's IRC chat ! All servers have come down for the Chains of Eternity launch. The entrance to Harrow's End now counts towards the Obol Plains exploration achievement. ABILITIES / ALTERNATE ADVANCEMENT Fury / Illusionist Force of Nature and Energizing Aura should no longer prevent the caster from camping. Assassin Concealer's Pain should properly remove Nightblade's Intensity. Beastlord Feral Pain should properly remove Ferocity. Ranger Flaming Assault should properly remove Burning Intensity. TRADESKILLS Rhenium Melodic Gauntlets recipe will now produce gauntlets instead of a coat. Osmium Censer is now priest-only. Matoppie and Banyan cloaks now have color& patterns.
