All U.S. servers will come offline at 7am Pacific Time on Thursday, November 15 for an update. Estimated downtime is two hours . The EU servers will come down at 5am London Time on Friday, November 16. Expected downtime is one hour. The full patch notes are available after the jump. GENERAL Players in a group of 6 are now capable of getting the solo amount of experience. MERCENARIES Krivix Honorclaw should now be using the correct buffs. Players should see a slight increase to tanking ability and max health. ABILITIES / ALTERNATE ADVANCEMENT Beastlord Invalid warder appearances have been re-enabled, but beastlords can now tame bovochs as an exotic warder ! Wizard Frozen Solid now maxes at 180 increments and increments at 33%/66%/100% by rank. Frozen Detonation now has a 1 second cast time. Velium Chill's increments are now 36, 72, 108, 144 and 180. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Harrow’s End Exhaustive Souldrain should now have examine text that accurately explains what it does. Drinal should no longer think he is using less soulwells than have been consumed. This should correct the issue with him dropping empty chests. Drinal will no longer auto consume the last soulwell if players do not allow him to consume any other soulwells. After all four soulwells have been destroyed he will imbue himself with a random ability and challenge level will be set to one soulwell. Get Prepared for Chains of Eternity! [EverQuest II]

Chains of Eternity is slated to launch this Tuesday, November 13. The expansion will have a few things going on that you may want to be prepared for prior to launch. Last day for expansion pre-orders is Monday, November 12. If you're interested in the lower price for the Collector's Edition ($60USD, or $20USD for SOE Live attendees) or you just want the bonus cloak, make sure you pre-order the expansion as soon as possible ! All AA will be reset. Between the split of Tradeskill AA and Adventuring AA, as well as the Prestige tree changes, every single player will have a full Alternate Advancement point reset. You can prepare by saving your current profile on a Mirror of Reflected Achievements or by heading over to EQ2U and saving a backup of your current profile on their site. We're not completely certain that the mirror will be able to reload your spec correctly due to the changes , so we highly recommend doing both just to play it safe! All CoE quests require you to ...

We're finally there! EQII Chains of Eternity is launching September 13, 2012. According to EverQuest2.com downtime for the expansion will start at 7:00 am Pacific and is anticipated to last until 12:00 noon. They warn: Important: This is an estimate of our anticipated downtime; please keep an eye on the forums , Facebook , and Twitter for any changes and updates! The US Servers will come down on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 7:00 am Pacific for a hotfix. The EU Servers will come down on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 5:00 am London Time. The expected downtime for both US and EU servers is one hour. Here is the patch note: GENERAL You can now summon a chest to you. Right-click the chest and choose summon or use the /summon_chest command. If you have no chest to target, the /summon_chest command will give you a list of chests that you can summon to you. Nights of the Dead Extended... Again! [EverQuest II]

Nights of the Dead was originally extended to end today at midnight; however, an error caused it to accidentally end at noon today. Due to this the event has been extended one more time, slated to end at midnight pacific on November 8. We're extending Nights of the Dead until tomorrow night [November 8] at midnight. We goofed and ended it at noon today (time is hard). Spooky tidings

Today marks another milestone in EverQuest II's journey as the game turns 8 years old. We can anticipate the Heroes Festival celebrations again later in the month, but in the meantime, long-time players can enjoy the new 9 Year Veteran Rewards ! The 9 Year Veteran Reward crate contains an expanded version of the 3-year broker display case, seven equipment unattuners, more field repair kits, health and power potions, and some scrolls of resurrection. Any account that has reached at least nine years of age should be able to see this item in their claim window. Click on the picture below to see all of the veteran rewards!

Coin Limit Will Be Removed for F2P Accounts [EverQuest II]

Starting November 13, 2012 (expansion launch ETA), Free and Silver members will no longer have a coin limit on their accounts! The introduction of the Krono brought to light how difficult it was for F2P players to purchase or sell Krono from other players. SOE listened and responded quickly ; this change has been on the beta server as of two days ago. The full announcement is available after the jump. It's an exciting time in the world of Norrath! Beginning on November 13, 2012 , there will no longer be coin restrictions for players with Free and Silver memberships!
