Downtime - September 27, 2012 [EverQuest II]

All US servers will come down on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 7am Pacific. EU servers will come down on Friday, September 28, 2012, at 5am London Time. The expected downtime for both US and EU servers is one hour. Here are the patch notes: GENERAL Fixed the double-click buying and selling functionality within the merchant windows. ABILITIES Paladin Paladin Faith Strike I and II will now properly heal the caster rather than the target. QUESTS Holgresh See in Withered Lands now has better rewards for brawlers and scouts.

The Qeynos City Festival Has Begun! [EverQuest II]

Today is the beginning of October, bringing us the Qeynos City Festival ! The festival will run until October 7th at 11:59pm PDT. You can find the Far Seas Caravan in Antonica just beyond the bridge to North Qeynos. Sanya Farshore, the General Goods merchant, is proud to continue featuring Bags of Teleportation Pads in her inventory. They cost 20 City Tokens, with each bag holding two Teleportation Pads . Visit the Far Seas caravan merchants to see all of the local specialities and other festival goods . An Aether Race will also be available in Antonica during the festival. Participate and achieve a time of 134 seconds or less to earn the Bridge Buzzer prefix title! Begin the race by speaking to the referee near the Coldwind Point Lighthouse.

QUESTS Unexpected Consequences You should now be able to spawn a new raven if you somehow lose yours. Ravens will now only respond to the adventurer who spawned them. No more raven poaching! I have fond memories of the hushed tones that would be used when speaking of The Sleeper in the original EverQuest . With this in mind, I find the new update to EverQuest II rather exciting. Chapter One of The Sleeper's Tomb is now live on EQ2 's servers. Serving as the prelude to the upcoming Chains of Eternity expansion, Sleeper's Tomb focuses on the bleeding chaos from the Ethernere and just what threats lie ahead.
