The US Servers will come down on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 7:00 am Pacific for a hotfix. The expected downtime is one hour. The EU Servers will come down on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at 5:00 am London Time. The expected downtime is two hours. Here are the patch notes: ITEMS The Qeynos Ceremonial Plate Helm should now have the correct appearance. Avatars: Evasion of a Dauntless Champion’s proc now has the proper icon. Avatars: Vallon's Hoop of Concentrated Convergence’s effect, Concentrated Convergence, will now only drop if you take significant damage to your max health. Avatars: Rings of Planar Scrutiny - Scrutiny of the Hounds now also grants 1100 ability mod.

Linda"Brasse"Carlson announced a temporary postponement of the ProSiebenSat.1 transition of European customers on the official forums last night: Hail Denizens of Norrath in the UK and EU, I just wanted to stop in here on the EQII Forums to give you an update the current status of the transition of our EU players to ProSiebenSat.1 Games. Having recently completed the transition for DC Uiniverse Online, we’ve learned a great many valuable lessons and identified a few areas where we’d like to improve the processes. We’re currently using that information and the feedback from player experiences and are working to improve the process further for players in future transitions. To this end, we have made the call not to make the transition for EverQuest II players during the time frame noted in the previous CS notification email. The City Festival Starts Tonight! [EverQuest II]

Tomorrow is the beginning of September, bringing us the Neriak City Festival ! The festival should start on September 1st at 12:01am PDT and run until September 7th at 11:59pm PDT. You can find the Far Seas Caravan in Darklight Wood outside of Neriak. Sanya Farshore, the General Goods merchant, is proud to feature Bags of Teleportation Pads in her inventory. They cost 20 City Tokens, with each bag holding two Teleportation Pads . Visit the Far Seas caravan merchants to see all of the local specialities and other festival goods . An Aether Race will also be available in Darklight Wood during the festival. Participate and achieve a time of 89 seconds or less to earn the Fearless Flyer prefix title! Begin the race by speaking to the referee near the festival caravans.
