The US Servers will come down on December 20, 2011, at 7:00 am PST for a hotfix. The expected downtime is one hour. See the full patch notes below the jump. DUNGEON / PLAYER HOUSING RATINGS The house and dungeon leaderboards have now been converted from the previous 5-star rating system to a new"Like"system. When visiting a house or completing a dungeon maker zone you now have the option to"Like"the zone in either of the two categories. The leaderboards are now based on the accumulation of likes. Awards continue to work as before and are given to the players at the top of the leaderboard. POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION Tower of Tactics x4 raid [Challenge Mode], and Tallons’s Stronghold x4 Raid [Challenge Mode] Several of the raid bosses have had effects in their raid wide debuff spells lowered. The Bazaar>Freeport Merger Starts Tonight [EverQuest II]

The Bazaar> Freeport merger is scheduled to start late tonight. The Bazaar will go down on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12:00 AM PST. Freeport will go down on Wendesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 AM PST. The server merges will take approximately 24 hours to complete once they have started, although the Vox> Naggy merger took much less time than anticipated. In addition to those servers being affected, there will also be chat & mail downtime for the following servers: Nagafen& Antonia Bayle - December 21, 2011 from 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM PST Permafrost, Crushbone, Oasis& Freeport - December 21, 2011 from 2:00 AM - 1:00 PM Watch this space for updates and more information as it becomes available! During the downtime you are welcome to join us in the #EQ2 channel of ZAM's IRC chat . Feldon of EQ2Wire also has set up a ZAM IRC java applet that you can use.

GENERAL You may now use the command“/republish_house” to update the name of your currently published dungeon or house. Note: The ability to update your currently published image using this command may not be functioning at the time of this update. BEASTLORD The warder granted Primal“Silent Talon” is now level 30. DUNGEON FINDER Adventuring in a DF group for 20 minutes will now grant you a reward once a day! COMBAT Fixed an issue where your character would sometimes spin and face away from an NPC they were fighting. Just announced by Dave"Smokejumper"Georgeson, EQII Executive Producer: We'll be running Double XP days from Dec 30th through Jan 2nd! We do not have details yet, but the last few double experience days have included adventure, AA, and tradeskill experience. We'll bring you more information as it is available.

QUESTS Beastlord Epic Ralissk should now properly speak to beastlords on all steps of the quest“One Door Closes, Another Door Opens”.

UPDATE : The start time of this event was changed to 10am PST on December 13, 2011. It should now be kicked on, check your games! The exception to this is EverQuest, who begins their deals on December 14. SOE will be launching a 12 Days of Holidays sales event starting Tuesday, December 13 at 10am PST, and running through 11:59pm PST on December 24. Players of participating games can login daily to find out what new sale item or feature is available. It's time to celebrate the Holidays with us! Starting today, December 13, 2011 at 10:00 am PST through December 24, 2011 at 11:59 pm PST get daily offers and deals when you login to participating games listed below. These could be new items, sales, or new features. You'll need to log in to find out what's happening in your game! Participating games are EverQuest, EverQuest II, Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, DC Universe Online, Pox Nora and Magic the Gathering: Tactics.

All U.S. servers will come down on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 7am PST for a hotfix. The expected downtime is one hour. EU servers will have their update at 5am BST on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Estimated downtime is two hours. See the full patch notes after the jump. GENERAL Fixed a bug with the 48 hour grace period for trade for some no-trade and heirloom items. Magic Carpet guild hall amenity now has Fens of Nathsar as a destination. Fixed a bug where loading a profile from your Mirror of Reflected Achievements would reset your AAs instead of loading the profile. DUNGEON MAKER Item rewards from Dungeon Maker should no longer be able to be transmuted or sacrificed. Dungeon Maker rewards should now be flagged as heirloom. Fabled Dungeon Maker rewards should no longer have red adornment slots. Ammo (Arrows) are now available in bundles of 50 arrows for 20 dungeon marks.
